DirectAutoHaul ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent auto transport quote comparison and lead generation platform operating at directautohaul.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information — and specifically how we comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other applicable privacy laws. By using this site and submitting a quote request, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

When you submit a quote request through our form, we collect the following personal information:

• Full name (first and last)
• Phone number — including cellular/mobile numbers subject to TCPA
• Email address
• Pickup and delivery location (ZIP code, city, state)
• Vehicle details (year, make, model, type, running condition)
• Desired ship date and transport type (open or enclosed)
• TCPA consent record: timestamp of consent, exact consent language displayed, IP address at time of submission, page URL, and user agent string

We automatically collect: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on site, referring URL, and UTM advertising parameters for analytics, fraud prevention, and TCPA record-keeping.

2. TCPA Consent Records & Documentation

We maintain detailed records of each user's TCPA consent as required by federal law and best practices. For each submission, we record and store:

• The exact consent language displayed to the user at the time of submission
• The date, time, and timezone of the submission (ISO 8601 format)
• The user's IP address at time of consent
• The submission ID linking the consent record to the lead data
• The page URL where consent was obtained
• The user's browser/device information

These consent records are retained for a minimum of 5 years to satisfy the TCPA statute of limitations (4 years under 28 U.S.C. § 1658), and are available for production in response to lawful legal or regulatory requests. All lead data is retained for a minimum of 4 years.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Connect you with FMCSA-licensed auto transport brokers and carriers who can provide price quotes for your route
• Authorize those partners to contact you by phone, SMS, email, and automated technology pursuant to your TCPA consent
• Prevent fraud and detect duplicate or bot submissions
• Improve our website, landing pages, form UX, and lead matching technology
• Run retargeting advertising (Facebook Custom Audiences, Google Customer Match) to re-engage visitors who did not complete a quote request — using hashed data only
• Analyze conversion data and optimize advertising ROI
• Comply with applicable federal and state law, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM Act, and CCPA/CPRA

4. Lead Distribution — Partner Sharing

By submitting a quote request and providing prior express written consent, you agree that your contact information may be shared with up to five (5) FMCSA-licensed auto transport brokers and/or carriers in our partner network. These partners may contact you independently with quotes, pricing, and follow-up communications related to your vehicle shipment request.

What we require of our partners: All lead distribution partners are contractually required to: (a) use your data only for auto transport communications; (b) maintain their own TCPA-compliant consent records; (c) honor all opt-out requests promptly; (d) not resell or re-share your data to unrelated third parties; and (e) comply with the TCPA, CAN-SPAM Act, and all applicable state telemarketing laws.

We do not sell your personal data to non-auto-transport advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated marketing companies.

5. Do-Not-Call (DNC) Rights & Opt-Out

Your TCPA consent overrides your registration on the National DNC Registry for communications from DirectAutoHaul and our specific partner network. However, you retain the following opt-out rights at all times:

• SMS: Reply STOP to any text message. You will receive one final confirmation, then no further texts.
• Phone calls: State verbally that you wish to be placed on the Do-Not-Call list. Agents are required by law to honor this immediately.
• Email: Click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email privacy@directautohaul.com with subject line "Unsubscribe."
• All channels: Email privacy@directautohaul.com with subject "Revoke All Consent" and your phone number and email address. We will process your request and notify all relevant partners within 10 business days.

Note: Individual partner companies maintain their own DNC lists. After you revoke consent with DirectAutoHaul, you may still receive communications from partners until they independently process your opt-out. Contact each partner company directly if this occurs.

6. Data Storage & Security

All form data is transmitted using TLS 1.2+ encrypted HTTPS connections. Lead data and consent records are stored in secured cloud infrastructure with role-based access controls and audit logging. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures including encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

• Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we hold about you (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We share your data with auto transport partners as described above; California residents may request that we limit this sharing
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights

Note for CCPA purposes: Sharing lead data with our auto transport partner network in exchange for the ability to operate our free quote platform may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law. By submitting a quote request, you consent to this sharing as disclosed in this Policy and in the TCPA consent language on our form.

8. Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Texas (TDPSA), and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal data. Contact privacy@directautohaul.com to exercise these rights.

9. Cookies & Advertising Tracking

We use the following tracking technologies: (a) Google Analytics 4 for site analytics and conversion measurement; (b) Google Ads conversion tracking for advertising optimization; (c) Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising conversion tracking and Custom Audience creation; (d) session cookies for form functionality and duplicate submission prevention. You may opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and Meta ad tracking via your Facebook ad preferences settings.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed solely at adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our site, contact privacy@directautohaul.com for immediate removal.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our business practices. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Revised" date above. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

11A. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to: (1) know what personal information is collected; (2) know whether personal information is sold or disclosed; (3) opt out of the sale of personal information; (4) access their personal information; (5) request deletion of personal information; and (6) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: We share lead data with licensed auto transport brokers as part of our core service. California residents may opt out by emailing privacy@directautohaul.com with subject line "CCPA Opt-Out". Note that opting out will prevent us from connecting you with brokers.

11B. Cookie Policy

We use the following cookies and tracking technologies: (1) Essential cookies — required for form functionality and session management; (2) Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 to measure site performance (you may opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); (3) Advertising pixels — Facebook Pixel for conversion measurement (opt out at facebook.com/adpreferences). You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

11C. Data Retention Policy

We retain personal information for the following periods: Lead submission data (name, phone, email, vehicle details) — 24 months from date of submission, or until you request deletion. TCPA consent records — 5 years from date of consent (required for legal compliance). Analytics data — retained per Google Analytics default settings (26 months). You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@directautohaul.com.
